Remember this? Here's the final piece of fabric without all the saran covering it up.
With the other piece of snow-dyed fabric, I tried soy-wax resist (fine white line drawing), used print paste to dye black, covered it in potato dextrin, bleached areas to a khaki green, and then clamped and overdyed fuschia. There are a lot of really interesting areas in this piece!
Our next project is to some piecing and embellishment with all the fabrics we've made. I'm wondering if I could find a way to do something inspired off some of the cityscapes I've taken lately:
